New Surfmeter Demo Video — Quality Measurements in Docker

Blog, News

Are you looking for a comprehensive video quality measurement software that helps you ensure quality for your customers? Look no further – AVEQ’s Surfmeter solution is here! In this demo video, we will show you how easy it is to use Surfmeter to measure video quality, web performance, speed tests, and other kinds of network measurements in real-time.

This demo uses the Docker platform to run Surfmeter on any device. You can run Surfmeter in a standalone manner, or deploy it to hundreds of measurement points without the need for a graphical user interface. When you use Surfmeter, you can define what you want to measure by creating a configuration file in JSON format. It contains a list of studies, such as a video test, website tests, speed tests, and DNS resolution tests. You can also use various command line options to enable features such as a screen recording, TCP dump, and the ability to save the results to a file.

After running the tests, you can look at the results to get detailed information about the video buffer, the video resolution, the bitrate, the frames per second, and the codecs used. You can also get information about the page load times and speed test results, like upload and download speed.

If you want to automate the whole measurement, Surfmeter also has excellent automation capabilities, as well as dashboards to gather, view, and analyze every metric in real-time from all your measurement devices.

So what are you waiting for? Check out the new Surfmeter demo video from AVEQ today and see how easy it is to measure video quality, web performance, speed tests, and more!
